Description

This is my first stuffed animal...I am going to update it later with pictures of what I did later (like the pattern..).

Instructions

  1. You create your pattern and cut it out on paper. You can't use more than one sheet of looseleaf unless you make a mistake. You'll need two sides of the body and two of the head.

  2. Then you trace your pattern on your fleece. Cut it out once done.

  3. Now you take your two body sides and try and make the gusset thingy. You will take the leg and separate them so they make an oval. You pin it right there like that and press it onto the paper with one hand and trace with the other. You do the same with the head.

  4. Now you get to sew. Start sewing the head together with the gusset thingy. Stuff it but don't close it.

  5. You start sewing the body just above where you want the head. When you get to the legs you'll sew the gusset thingy on and do the same with the front leg. then you stop at the base of your bear's neck. you put the neck in the hole and sew it closed.

  6. (Optional) Get a length of yarn and make a bow around the bear's neck to hide the fact that the bear's neck is kind of floppy.
