In this tutorial I want to share with you this amazing idea! In this container you can keep pencils, pens or tools ...I keep my caft knifes and scissors on them, because they are sturdy and easy to carry. The possibilities are endless! Instructions

  1. Small img 6800

Gather the materials! - The bottle must be clean and dry inside. - Use some old scissors, if you use a new one you'll probably end up ruining it.

  2. Small img 6801

First the bottle! Start cutting out the bottle top.

  3. Small collage1

Now with a needle make holes where you cut earlier, leaving a small margin on top and a small distance between the holes.

  4. Small img 6810

Now the fabric! Note that the fabric length must be the diameter of your bottle, the height depends on how tall you'll like you container.

  5. Small img 6813

This is what you gonna do with the top and bottom of the fabric. Fold it twice and use pins to keep it in place. I'm not great at sewing but I think this is easy to make even for beginners.

  6. Small collage2

Now on the sewing machine, sew one of the sides you did the folds before, this side is going to be the top of the container. It doesn't matter which one you choose, the other side we going to sew by hand. Just make a straight sewing, as shown.

  7. Small img 6814

Now with right sides facing, fold the fabric like that and make a straight sewing along the side. Just don't sew along the folded edge we did before, cause that's where we gonna pass the cord in the end.

  8. Small collage3

Wrap the bottle with the fabric and align on the bottle top as shown.

  9. Small collage4

Sew the fabric on the bottle with a back stitch using the holes you did at the beginning, turn it over.

  10. Small collage5

To finish, pass the ribbon or cord through the folded edge. Done!
