They're pants... that are plaid
First pair of pants i made from scratch, made a template from a pair of skinny jeans i already have and like the fit of (though it didn't work very well since i did not tear them apart), but wound up with a twisty seam towards the bottom legs. I also had to double up the fabric to make the pants thick enough.
they still fit fine, pockets came out great.
i suck at making zippers though :/

Hey, did you ever figure out how to not get the twisty-seam-thing at the bottom? Same thing happened to me before. Also, where'd you get the fabric?

yeah i kinda run into things head first and then fix them later. hence why my style consists of very little talent (ex: crappy zipper and messed up seems on these pants)
