You only need: a round placemat, some pins, velcro and a sewing machine. The placemat is too hard to hand sew.
Pin to the inside one of the borders of the placemat, as seen in the pic. Sew it. Find the center of this straight line and sew the soft side of the velcro in the outside.
Place your placemat as I did in the pic. Fix with pins and sew. Sew the opposite velcro to close the clutch.
Use a nice fabric flower, some beads o whatever you want to embellish your clutch to match your stile.
