A recipe I've used for years now that has proven to be a favorite still with my children!
In large bowl, pour 1 cup hot water over 2 tablespoons butter. Let sit until melted and lukewarm temperature.
Over 1/4 cup water, sprinkle one packet of dry yeast and let sit 10 minutes.
Sift flour to measure 3 cups. Add 1 teaspoon salt.
Add yeast mixture to butter mixture and stir well.
Mix in half of dry mixture until well mixed and then continue adding dry mixture slowly, till thoroughly combined and has doughy texture.
Cover with towel and set in dark warm place for 10 minutes to rise.
Split dough into 2 sections and spread each section evenly upon 2 lightly greased pans.
Cover with towel and set in dark warm place to rise.
Once done, spread to fully cover pan.
Evenly cover each pizza with 4 oz of sauce.
Evenly cover each pizza with 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
Add other toppings as desired
Bake at 425 for 8-10 minutes or until crust golden brown and cheese melted
