Pixie Costume
A friend of mine wanted to be a Pixie for Halloween. So she grabbed some scrap sweater pieces and made an amazing skirt and arm warmers. I grabbed 2 wire hangers, cut the hanger part off and shaped like wings. I then grabbed the good ole duct tape and taped them together. I found a little ball for yellow yarn and winged. LOL no pun intended, the rest. The headband was easy, I just crocheted a black band, then winged the basic shape of the ears. In the edging of the ears I put a light weight wire in them, so she can adjust them once she has her hair in pigtails to go with the costume. I think it cam out amazing for an ALL recycled Pixie outfit, what do you think?
