Pistou is the French version of pesto, Pistou is a sauce from Provence.
Its great in soup, veggies and on top of Pasta
first gather the basil (leaves or those shaker versions of basil-its what I used), the garlic(peeled), olive oil and the salt.
put them into a mortar and pestle and grind them into a paste (or use a food processor)
