Created the spaghetti straps
Pinned the top down to the bow creating a low bustline
Added black bows
The fabric creating the bow continues around torso tying the back (not shown)

Nope, I did not reshape the shirt at all after cutting the straps off. After adding the strip to create the bow, I pulled the bow up and sewed it to the original bust line (but only to the hem and not the actual shirt). I used a shirt/camisole with a 'built-in bra' for boob support ;)
