You Will Need (7 things)
- Paint Brush
- Decopage Glue/ Mod Podge Acrylic Sealer
- Math Compass
- Stanley Knife
- Scissors
- Scrapbook Paper
- Jar(s) with lid
Steps (9 steps, 15 minutes)
-
1
Measure the radius of your lid with your compass, if the lid as a lip measure that too, and then add about 2,5 cm.
-
2
Then make your circle, on the back of your scrapbook paper.
-
3
With your Stanley knife, cut the circle out.
-
4
Find your compass again and make a circle on your circle which is the same size as the lid.
-
5
Cut slits with about 0,5 cm between from the outside and into the guideline you just made.
-
6
Now it’s time to find your decoupage glue and brush. Give the circle generously with glue and push the lid firmly down on it.
-
7
Brush small pieces of decoupage glue on both the jar lip and the slits and then press you slits one at the time on to the lip so they overlap.
-
8
Finally give a generously amount of decoupage glue on the lids whole surface, and let it dry.

Tip: You can also glue something to the jar that indicates what it’s used for.
