I started making pictureflakes in 2002 after learning from another artist friend. I had always cut out my own snowflakes but none with images. I started using freezer paper and ironing them to velvet to make small tree skirts. I make them every year for different friends or events.

Materials needed: scissors (various styles) thin or regular paper (any color) Optional materials: waxed freezer paper for fusing to fabric iron for fusing and pressing flakes small ironing board decorative fabrics (velvets work well) glitter spray
