I am happy to present my first "How to" to you guys. I was thinking about a present for my best friend, so I came up with the idea of the picture puzzle. I am curious how she will react to the present. And I am looking forward to read your opinions... x Tanja

I am happy to present my first "How to" to you guys. I was thinking about a present for my best friend, so I came up with the idea of the picture puzzle. I am curious how she will react to the present. And I am looking forward to read your opinions... x Tanja

Instructions

  1. Small p1080807 1266654814

These are the materials you will need to make your own picture puzzle. I used wooden cubes 7x7cm (a friend of mine made them for me!) if you can't get your hands on some. Just make some cubes out of thick paper! It works as well. The cube got 6 sides, so you need 6 pictures. I just chose 5 pictures and used the free side to write down some birthday wishes for my friend.

Alright you got your cubes, you have chosen your pictures. Now you can start to prepare the pictures. The size of the pics should be 7x7x7=21cm on the one side and 7x7=14cm on the other side. Cut them into the right size.

After that prepare a model 7x7 put it on your picture and retrace it with a pencil.

Now glue the pieces of the picture on the wooden cubes. Let it dry properly. Turn the cubes and repeat the steps with the next picture... and so on and on

All the pictures are glued onto the wooden cube now. I decided to cover it with clear varnish as the pictures would look a bit dodgy after turning them all the time. That's about it. If you have questions or if you don't know what I want to get across let me know... I am happy to help!
