You Will Need

Step 1
I chopped off a part of a leg, from my old pair of jeans. I turned it inside out, and sewed along the bottom. Don't worry about the top, because that will be sealed later on.

Step 2
Then I prepared my patterned fabric. I cut out a rectangle of fabric that was the length of the circumference of the jean leg, and about 4x wide. I used the iron to press the rectangle in half, and then in half again.

Step 3
I attached the pressed material to the jean leg, and zig-zagged up the raw edges.
