Recycle your phonebook
Do you have an old dusty phonebook and are thinking of throwing it away well dont insted make a pencil holder with it. Oh I was not sure about the time because it took 3 hours to dry the first time and 3 more the second time.

    First gather your materials like you see here.

    Second trace a line by the very half of the phonebook and start to cut taking 10 pages at a time do this as straight and even that you can. Well I lost my patience and I used a cutting blade jajaja,dont do this it wont work as well. Well it might work for you.

    See the picture I had a hard time and my daughter help lol.

    Third divide your already cut phonebook in to five equal parts use clothespins.

    Fourth glue a pencil to the spine of the book like you see here. As you can see my glue gun that was in first step was misbehaving and I had touse my wife´s pink gun lol.

    Now fold backwards to glue in place.

    Fifth glue the edge of the pages and fold inwards to make a petal shape.
    Put clothespins to hold in place.

    After that glue a little more higher and use another clothespin.

    This is what it looks like ugly right lol.
    Let it completly dry before the next step.

    Here it is dry.

    Six get a cardboard or an old box like I did and trace the shape of the
    pencil holder.

    See thats the shape.

    Seven cut your shape lol like you didn't know that.

    Eight glue the cardboard to the bottom of the pencil holder.
    And let it dry.

    You are done this is what it looks like you can leave it like this or
    paint and decorate it.

    Put your pencils or stuff in it.

you could use something else a wooden stick it help you close it and yes you could use binder clips.

this is very useful especially since i'm going off to college in the next school year! Question: Is the pencil in the middle needed? and 2 can I use binder clips instead of clothes pins to hold them together?

Just a suggestion, you could use toilet rolls instead
