A simple project to protect your phone and keep it with you at all times.
I saw a phone cozy sort of like this on Etsy and figured I could make something like it of my own. Here it is!

The end measurements for this are 14.5cm x 7.5cm.

Using your pattern, cut two pieces of fabric (right sides together) for the cozy. If you want a loop/strap, cut a strip of fabric for that.

My dimensions for this pattern are:
    width: 16cm
length: 8.5cm x3 = 25,5cm total (Each section is 8.5cm, the top section is cut to design afterward. The top right part of it is the full 8.5cm.)

(I think I'll make the width a tiny bit smaller next time so the fit is more snug.)

Turn the cozy right side out. Push all the corners out. (I use the tip of my closed scissors, just be careful not to poke too hard. A pencil would work too.)

Next sew across the flat bottom edge. In the process you are sewing the opening where you turned the cozy closed.

If you are going to make a loop/strap, sew that first. Put right sides together, sew a tube and then turn it right side out.

Sew the two pieces together. But leave a space unsewn so you can turn it right side out. I left mine at the bottom (left hand side) of the cozy.

You can put the loop/strap inside the two pieces now, or you can do it while sewing the cozy into shape (step 5).

After everything is sewn, I trimmed the corners so they would turn out nicer and sharper when this is turned right side out.

Divide the cozy into 3 parts. Fold the bottom section up to the middle section. Starting at the bottom of one side, sew all the up and around the cozy.

This is the other point where you can add the loop/strap in.

This final sewing makes the cozy-pocket and it also gives the cozy a nice finishing touch.

Sew on your snap, button or what ever you are going to use to close the cozy.

Your cozy is ready to use! Enjoy.

I used a climbing clip on my loop/strap so I can hook my phone anywhere I want.
