Well there's two parts to this story. ^^ One part was I really like rainbows and wanted some rainbow laces. Problem was they ran about $6.00 and was too small for my shoes. Second part was I had some white paces that was still dirty even after I washed them. So I killed two problems one day by shifting through my sharpie collection. I took the laces, clipped them to a clipboard, google some rainbow clip art, then had fun with my sharpies. This project is great for teens, preteens, and anyone who gets stuck in doors on rainy days. If you don't have sharpies, fabric paint pens works well too. As for the sharpies, I'd let em sit for an hour before threading them on the shoes. Some parts might still be a tad bit wet.
