cut out the front and the back of the box.
prepare some segments for your book and with use of the coptic stitch, sew the cover and back on to the segments.
make it as thick or slim as you want, and you can use the sides of the box as a book mark. sorry i haven't got any detailed pictures! Just use any binding method you like or are familiar with.
