My sweetheart and I just finished this coffee table. The legs are from some free pallets we collected. The top support is the back of a metal, standing shelving unit, salvaged from the trash. The middle shelf/mosaic is a collaboration of broken pots that were just waiting for such a project and left-over tile (from a bathroom project). The cement board, tile glue, and grout were all also left over from the bathroom tiling. The only items we really had to buy were the stain for the legs and the plastic (although very glass-looking)top. Depending on what you have on hand, this can be a very inexpensive project!! It did take us about a week to finish it.
