could never think of anything to do with the yellow plastic thing. so cute Happy. didn't have any acrilic paint at the time so i had to use multiple coats of tempera paint.

i feel so deprived that i never knew what kinder eggs were until i saw this project and googled them! turns out they're illegal in the U.S. Like there was a story in the news where a lady came back from Canada with one and she got into a whole bunch of trouble. It's so silly but whatever. maybe i'll just go to canada, eat a bunch of them there, then bring back the empty plastic egg to make this with Happy

How can some of you guys not know what a Kinder Egg is? It's a tiny little chocolate egg with a little yellow plastic tube inside it. When you open up the yellow tube there's a cheap plastic toy in it, like what you get from a Christmas cracker.

I don't know where you would get them in the US... they are sold in sweet shops here in the UK. I didn't realise you got them in Canada too Happy
