Cut Out + Keep

Pencil Pouch

My first pattern.

https://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/pencil-pouch • Posted by Rachel Elizabeth

It came to my attention one Sunday morning that the pencil and pen I usually carried in my bag to church were leaving marks inside of my bag. It was then that I decided that I needed a small pouch that I could use that would prevent the two writing utensils from ‘coloring’ the inside of my purse. I didn't want to buy a pouch when I could easily make one from the leftover yarn from another project. And thus the Pencil Clutch Pattern was created. It was a cheap, easy way to spare the inside of my purse from more pencil marks. This pattern is the first I’ve written, so please be patient with me as I perfect this pattern. If you would like to point out something that needs improvement, please let me know.
