Description

I found this recipe on the internet a while ago and it was originally intended for making halloween black cat cookies, but I found you can do any shape you want ;)

Instructions

  1. Small 3620

Get all of your ingredients and preheat your oven to 375 F (aprox. 190 C)

  2. Small 3621

Beat together eggs, peanut butter and water until they are well mixed.

  3. Small 3622

Add cake mix gradually mixing well between each addition.

  4. Small 3623

Dough is ready when it doesn't stick to the sides of your bowl and you can see peanuts clearly.

  5. Small 3624

Take some of your dough and roll it on an UNLFLOURED surface. Peanut butter makes it greasy, so it won't stick on pretty much anything. If it sticks on your table a little, you just have to work it with your hands for a few seconds.

  6. Small 3625

Grab your favorite cookie cutters and make as many shapes as you want. I was making these for christmas, so I chose a christmas tree. Be careful with peanut chunks as they're not that easy to cut =P

  7. Small 3626

Remove edges with your hands carefuly.

  8. Small 3627

Using a spatulla, remove the shapes from your table carefully. Dough is very stretchy, but it can brake easily, so this can be a little bit tricky.

  9. Small 3628

Place on UNGREASED cookie sheets. They don't need to be too far from each other as they don't grow that much in the oven. If you leave 1/2 inch between each of them it'll be fine.

  10. Small 3629

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Extra tip: this dough is cooked very fast, so you can adjust baking time according to your own taste: if you want cookies to be more chewy, bake for only 8~10 minutes; if you want them more crunchy, bake for 12~15 minutes. When they're done, get them out of the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.

  11. Small 3630

You can eat them as they came out of the oven XD but I personally like to add a little extra touch with icing and sprinkles =P I used white vanilla icing with two or three drops of green food coloring.

  12. Small 3631

The amount of icing depends pretty much on your own taste, but these are sweet enough for themselves,so you may want to go easy on it.

  13. Small 3632

Add some cute sprinkles on top and...voilà!!!! =D Enjoy!!
