Perfect for a winter warmer
My husband loves baked Christmas hams. But I hate that there is always so much left over on the bone. Here is a recipe that stops the waste. It’s a part of us living more more self sufficiently. Use everything you can and waste nothing.
And it’s in the slow cooker so being a mum of 6 I can put it on in the morning and walk away. Win!
Slow cook 8 to 10 hours on LOW or 6 hours on HIGH.
Remove ham bone, shred ham meat. Discard bone and fatty skin.
Remove bay leaves. Use a stick blender to blend liquid until it’s at the desired consistency.
Place servings into bowls, garnish and serve with crusty bread
