This key necklace is so easy and adorable! For a gift or yourself, learn how to age metal to create a fun piece to wear.

Put key into bowl and pour just enough vinegar to cover on both sides. Let sit 10 minutes. Add in same amount of hydrogen peroxide as vinegar. Sprinkle salt to cover key. Let sit in this mixture for an hour (more/less depending on the patina you want). You will see the liquid start to become a rust color.
Before and after of keys. Just add a chain, and you have a pretty necklace!
