i have tried making these (and they turned out successful i might add). i made my pair black and red w/ black tassles sewn in the middle. they are way easy but one word of advice - careful with that glue gun!!! i got so many burns gluing them sequin strands on.

ya make sure you get spirt gum remover! That stuff hurts!!! A person in my school took it off without the remover and removed part of his skin with it!

I wouldn't have thought to make them fun like your cats, that's too neat. OH! Maybe pumpkins for halloween! Or snow flakes for christmas or easter eggs for easter.........
