Description

Easy to make with lovely results. All perfect for a party princess or a pretty bridesmaid.

Instructions

  1. Small 14581

TIARA Cut about 100cm of wire. Thread the end through the hole at one end of the tiara base and wrap round several times to secure. Pick up between 1 and 3 rocailles and wrap the wire once round the tiara base. Pick up another 1, 2 or 3 rocailles or 1 round AB bead and wrap the wire round again. Ensure that the beads are held on the front of the tiara base and close to each other. Continue to add beads until you want to add your first stem.

  2. Small 14582

Stems - To make a stem pick up several beads of your choice. Leave 2 or 3cm of wire between your beads and the base. Twist your wire (after the last bead added) back down the stem until you reach the tiara base. Continue adding beads along the base as before until you want to add your next stem or flower.

  3. Small 14583

Flowers – To make a flower pick up 8 rocailles. Again, leave 2 or 3cm of wire between the beads and the tiara base. Pass the wire in the same direction through the first rocaille you picked up. Pick up 1 round AB bead. Then pass the wire through the fourth rocaille along from the first and pull tight. Your flower is now complete. Now twist back down the stem as you did before until you reach the tiara base.

  4. Small 14584

Continue all the way around the base, adding stems and flowers as you go, until you reach the end of the tiara. Tightly wind the wire several times round the end of the tiara base. Trim off any excess wire. You can leave your stems and flowers standing tall or have them waving in the breeze like the one illustrated here. To do this, simply bend each stem in several directions.

  5. Small 14585

Your finished tiara should look something like this.

  6. Small 14586

NECKLACE Thread your needle onto 150cm of Super lon D. Pick up 1 silver rocaille. Leaving a 20cm tail, loop round and through the rocaille twice to secure the thread. Follow the rocaille with 1 lilac 4mm round moon bead and repeat 59 more times (1 silver rocaille, 1 lilac 4mm round moon bead).

  7. Small 14587

To make a daisy, pick up 8 silver rocailles. Pass the thread through the first rocaille again and then pick up 1 lilac 4mm moon bead. Pass the thread through the fifth rocaille you picked up. Pull tight.

  8. Small 14588

Continue the necklace by adding 1 4mm lilac moon bead and 1 silver rocaille. Repeat twice more so that you have a total of 6 beads. Pick up 1 moon heart. This time, beginning with a silver rocaille, add another block of 6 beads. Then add another daisy. Continue adding alternating hearts and daisies spaced with your blocks of 6 beads. Do this until you have 5 daisies and 5 hearts in total.

  9. Small 14589

To finish off, tie the two end threads together 4 or 5 times. To make the necklace extra secure, weave the remaining thread ends through the beads again. Trim off any excess.

  10. Small 14590

Your finished necklace should look something like this.

  11. Small 14591

BRACELET TRIO To make a bracelet, cut 25cm of Elasticity. Tie a couple of knots on one end. Add beads (as listed below) and tie the Elasticity ends together several times. Bracelet 1: Pick up 10 ruby rocailles and 1 ruby moon star. Repeat 4 more times. Bracelet 2: Pick up 1 ruby rocaille and 1 4mm ruby moon bead. Repeat 26 more times. Bracelet 3: Pick up 1 ruby moon star and 1 4mm ruby moon bead. Repeat 14 more times. Your finishe bracelets should look something like this.
