• 

  Step 1

  Fist cut out 8 circles of paper, it can be any design or colour. I used a bottom of a glass for a guide with a rough diameter of 3.5"

  When you've cut them out, fold the in half, then in half again then a third time, you should have 8 segments.

  Next draw a small circle in the middle, I used a coin (5p).

  Step 2

  Next cut each fold to the edge of the circle in the middle you've just drawn.

  Step 3

  Now this is the tricky part so I hope it makes sense. With your pencil or a point, roll each segment into a cone shape, gluing the corner as you roll it over.

  Step 4

  It should then look like this. Do the same with all your other circles of paper.

  Step 5

  Now with a need and embroidery floss, thread each star but with the first from its back and the rest from their front so the design shows all around.

  Step 6

  Like this :)...

  Step 7

  Now pull both ends of the thread tight and tie a knot.
