In less than one hour you can make this one of a kind piece of wall art. I used a 40% off coupon for the canvas and mine cost less than $5. Everything else I used was already on hand.

Paint the canvas the background color of your choice. You can use acrylic paints, spray paint, wall paint, anything you have on hand. Make sure the edges of the canvas are covered as well.
Now cut the scrapbook paper into 2-3 inch strips with the paper trimmer.
Now cut the strips into 2-3 inch squares. You will need about 80 squares.
Then cut simple petal shapes diagonally from the squares.
The leaf shape does not have to be perfect.
You can certainly cut the petals out differently, but this way they are all no longer than the squares you made.
Start placing them on the canvas off center. When you are happy with how they look, Mod Podge them onto the canvas, moving down the sides with the petals on the edge.
Allow the Mod Podge to dry.
Mod Podge over the petals and the entire canvas again. Tuck down any petal edges that are raised, check the edges for petals that did not stick as well.
Now hang it up and enjoy!!
