Paper Quilled Alien Card
Paper quilling can be fun and different! Whilst flowers and butterflies are all lovely sometimes we want to step away from the "normal" and make unusual quirky cards. Aliens are pretty cute and with easy crimping and quilling techniques this three eyed alien monster is made.

Glue the largest coil to the circle of purple card for the alien body, then glue the three smaller coils above this for the eyes. Add three strips of green to link the eyes to the body. Use strong glue to attach three wiggly / googely eyes. Make four quilled circles with yellow crimped paper and add short strips of paper to these. Then make a red coil for the aliens mouth using a 20cm length.

Now pinch the yellow coils with your fingers to make shapes for hands and feet. Attach these to the purple card. Finally pinch the red coil to a mouth shape, glue on the mouth to the large green coil. Mount the purple circle to a card blank and add a greeting of your choice if you wish.
