Paper Petals

Single Kusudama flower on a bobby pin!

This is a Kusudama origami flower. Although origami doesn't usually include 'glue' each of the petals are made separately and then glues together to make the flower. While I was making it I threaded several strands of cotton into each petal so that when I was done there was a thick bunch of strings coming out of the bottom that I secured to a bobby pin and then pulled it into my hair. Although - I think these ones are a little too big, and too pointed to really be useful as accessories, would love to make some little ones for clips and stuff --------------- Materials -> Double sided origami paper. Black cotton. Bobby pin. 'Craft Smart' Craft glue.
