This is something I thought would be cute to do for my boyfriend, my Mom use to make these for people during secret Santa. This is really my first try, but I thought it turned out alright and it's a cute idea!
This is something I thought would be cute to do for my boyfriend, my Mom use to make these for people during secret Santa. This is really my first try, but I thought it turned out alright and it's a cute idea!
Take a paper bag!
Then rip open the bottom of the bag.
Then Lay it down flat and draw your boot shape.
Cut out your boots.
You can crinkle them if you want, it adds some character and helps to hold its shape.
Fold the top of the boots down to make cuffs and then staple the sides together.
You can paint your stockings any color you want or you can Mod Podge magazine pictures to it (you have to Mod Podge it any way) I just used water color paints, acrylic is better to use though, but I didn't have any acrylics paints :C
Then I glued cotton balls around the cuffs and then I mod podge'd it so it has a nice shine and holds its shape. I added a little glitter too, but you can't really tell. Then tad da! You have your Christmas stocking made out of a paper bag!
