Description

Instructions

  1. Make a ball using white polymer clay and form it into a flat oval shape approximately 7mm (¼in) thick and 20mm (¾in) wide.

  2. Cut a shallow opening at the base of the oval using a blade.

  3. Push the top of a metal paperclip into the opening and reform the oval around it so the paperclip is secure.

  4. Then make two even balls using black clay. Flatten these on your work surface to create discs that are approximately 7mm (¼in) wide.

  5. Cut a small portion off the bottom of both black discs to allow you to attach them more easily to the white shape. These will be the ears.

  6. Press the ears gently onto the top of the oval shape to create the panda’s head.

  7. Take some more black clay and create two small even balls and flatten them into ovals.

  8. Press the ovals onto the front of the panda head.

  9. Then flatten a small ball of white clay inside the black ovals.

  10. Add a face to the panda head, putting the eyes in the white circles you just created.
