@Mickie - I have not. I've never used a loom to crochet anything. Maybe you should try and show us your finished project! ^_^

@Holly - Oooh. Looks like cut-out-and-keep is having issues. All the steps used to be there.

Ooh, also, since everyone seems to have a hard time figuring out when to stop increasing...

My panda hat started from a flat circle (the part of the pattern where you increase) of about 6 to 6.5 inches across.

Hope that helps with sizing! ^_^

@Redridinghood
I used worsted weight yarn. I typically use Vanna's Choice. It's nice and fluffy and thick.

@Anne P.
It doesn't matter if you join rounds or work in one continuous spiral. Either way works. (I work in a continuous spiral because I can't figure out how to join seamlessly >_<;;)

@Linda F.
If you wanted to make a knitted version, you'll need to work in the round. You could use any knitted hat pattern as a base. Getting the ears might be a little tricky. Maybe use super tiny hats, but flatten them and then attach them?

I love this!
So should I join rounds when I make it,or do I keep crocheting in a continual round?

If you don't know what a magic ring is, you can either google a tutorial for it, or just chain 2 and then single crochet 6 in the second stitch from hook. ^_^
