Loads of roving left after the felted sheep so I thought a panda would be nice but kept it to 2D so it wasn't too complicated.

Description

Loads of roving left after the felted sheep so I thought a panda would be nice but kept it to 2D so it wasn't too complicated.

Instructions

  1. Make a flat circle of felted roving. Don't overdo it as there are things to attach.

  2. Take 2 small pieces of black and make them into loose semi circles. Attach them to the top of the head. Don't stab through from the back otherwise the black will show through to the front. Stab the ears flat.

  3. Take another 2 pieces of black about the same size as the ears. Make an oval shape with them and attach at an angle about half way down.

  4. Take a bit about a third of the eyes, make a sausage and attach it for the nose.

  5. I attached some white felt on the back with some interfacing to give it a bit more structure. If you make the panda thicker then there may be no need for this. Attach a brooch pin to the back.
