Instructions

Lumiere Paint comes in a lot of rich and beautiful colors and formulas to choose. For these projects, I used the Burnt Orange and Citrine colors, as well as the Pearlescent Blue. For the canvases, I chose to use a dark colored canvas to see how these paints showed up on a dark color. It worked great!

I die cut a design using my electronic die cutting machine and centered it onto the 4" x 4" canvas.

Then, I traced it onto the canvas using a light colored pencil.

    Next, I painted the cup.

Once it was dry, I add dots and lines of paint for a pattern on the cup. I found the paint to be thin enough to spread easily as I painted the canvas, but thick enough to hold the shape of the dots.

After I finished the canvases, I moved onto making a t-shirt without even switching the paint. Don't you just love having 1 type of paint that will cover all of your project ideas? The star was drawn onto the shirt using an iron on transfer pencil. These types of transfer pencils are nice to use because they will wash out when in the laundry.

The center of the star was painted in using the citrine paint. The paint is easily spreadable on the material so you won't use very much to cover an area.

Then, I outlined the star using the burnt orange paint and a small paint brush.

The pearlescent blue was sponge painted around the star to finish off the design. It was all allowed to dry and was ready to wear.

  10. I highly recommend using this paint for all of your projects. The colors are great for light and dark media and you won't need to switch paint to do your projects. They are the perfect consistency for spreading and adding details. Try this paint for your next project. I know you'll love it, too!
