• 

  Step 1

  So... You'll need rectangular beads like these. They may already be in a color you like, but i had these lying around, and thought i could use'em.
  Though this orangy-yellow-ish color did not please me. So...

  Step 2

  ...I painted it with Nail Polish!

  Step 3

  I used Revlon's "midnight affair", which is a very dark blue with some sparkle.
  I did one coat each side and i think it turned out great, though you may need more depending on your nail polish.

• Step 4

  Wait for your beads to dry and thread as many as you wish on the elastic.

• 

  Step 5

  Knot it, and you're done!!!
