Wokka, wokka, wokka, wokka...
So, this Halloween, my friends and I went as PacMan and the Ghosts.
Needless to say, people LOVED us! We got double candy at most places and a WHOLE lot of high fives.
Best Halloween ever? I think so.

Anyway, so it's really simple. I just had to collect enough cardboard boxes. XD
And then we just used whatever we had on hand to complete the stuff.
It took about two hours to complete one of these, but that's also because I didn't paint them like I wanted.

  • Step 1

Okay, so I have no pictures, but this is really simple.

    PacMan:
Okay, get a large cardboard box or two large sheets of cardboard and cut two large circles out. Ours were about 30 inches in diameter.

  • Step 2

Paint the circles yellow on one side or cover the side with yellow paper, using rubber cement to glue it in place.

  • Step 3

Paint on the eyes and mouth, like you see in the pictures above.

    Step 4

Now, we put these on by making the back of the cardboard like a shield. Sort of like the picture, except we used duct tape that was folded over to make a non-sticky strap. This was secured on with more duct tape.

  • Step 5

Try on your PacMan and start wokka wokka walking. :P

  • Step 6

    Ghosts:
As you can see, our ghosts were reversible, just adding to the awesomeness.

So, cut out two pieces of cardboard that is tombstone shaped. Ours were about a foot and a half wide as to not get in the way of our arms too much, and ended about halfway down our thighs so they wouldn't get in the way of our running.

  • Step 7

Cut out a triangle pattern on the bottom like you see in the pictures above.

  • Step 8

Paint one side dark-ish blue and the other side red, cyan, orange, or pink or cover with that color paper and secure with rubber cement. Do this for both cardboard pieces.

  • Step 9

Cut out eyes on white and black paper or paint the eyes on. Add an M shaped mouth the blue side.

  • Step 10

Poke holes near the top and thread some string (or duct tape, or shoelaces, or a number of other things) through the holes to make straps s you end up with a sandwich-board-type-thing.

  • Step 11

Wear proudly, and win a few costume contests. :P
