Follow most of step 4.. stuff with cut lavender instead of stuffing. http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/cutesimple-owl

Glue a circle of felt to the bottom of the owl. This will stop any pieces of lavender pushing their way out of the small hole in the middle of the gathers.
