Turn a collection of juice can lids into ornaments with any image of your choice.
Gather supplies. Wash and dry lids. Juice can lids work well as there are no sharp edges and the images are nicely framed by the edge of the lid.
Cut images to fit the recessed portion of the lid. You may wish to make a template to ease the process. Affix the image using the decoupage medium. Using a paint brush, apply two coats on top of the image with the decoupage medium, allowing it to dry between coats.
Cut and knot the twine at the desired length. Using a hot glue gun, glue twine on the back of the ornament.
If desired, a permanent marker can be used to colour the visible portions of the lid. Do this prior to affixing the image.
