You Will Need

  • How to fold an origami shape. Origami Heart - Step 1
    Step 1

    Begin with a rectangular piece of paper.

    Turn it over colour side down.

    Fold it in half.

    Unfold and fold in half from left to right.

    Unfold so you can see four rectangles.

    Fold the top right corner down to the centre line.

    Fold the second corner down.

    Fold the bottom corners to the centre line.

    After folding the bottom corners up, turn it over.

    Fold down the top point. (Be sure to leave the back section flat.)

    Fold the side corners in (approx. 1 cm)

    Fold the middle sections. Be sure to leave a short flat area at the top.

    Finally, flip it back over... and you have a HEART.

alos having the same trouble as suzi p. at step 10 o.o and ive redone this a million times...argh what am i doing wrong? D:

step 10 goes wrong with me-in the pic, you see a rectangularly shaped white bit, but with me that bit's pointed. it points to the middle of the heart-to-be.
what am i doing wrong? does anyone know?

i did one, but my paper had a ripped edged, which made mine look like a broken heart Happy great tutorial though
