Cut Out + Keep

Oriental Magnet

A very simple magnet I made, using fabric covered button.

I used a Japanese patterned paper for this project (as seen in the picture). It's thicker than normal white paper so I figured it won't tear if I used it to cover the button. Usually, people use fabric. There's a shank (or a loop to use for sewing. it's a button after all..) at the back, but I plucked/cut it off using a plier. If the right sources are found, this magnet costs very very little to make and it's so simple! :) You just gotta get the hang of covering buttons.
