Great idea, i never would have thought about shower curtain hooks on a curtain rod. Very creative. To bad my dad is very anti-holes in the walls.

Genius!!!! such a simple yet WONDERFUL idea!!! Thank you so much Tamiacu's boyfriend for thinking of it ;). Going to the store to get the supplies to make this right now. I'm going to see what kind of funky shower curtain hooks I can find though other than plan black. Happy

Just make sure this rod is not near water of any kind - if so, use regular chalk to keep all moisture off of your jewelry! Just a thought!

The jewelry is a combo of made, bought, and inherited. I've posted as many pics as I'm going to now, lol...most of the closeups are of my own pieces Happy

It's definitely nice to have everything splayed out this way. Reminds me to give my seldom-used pieces more lovin!

Genius! Just have to figure where to put the curtain rod! I found an organizer that goes over a hanger that has pouches to hold jewelery but this is so much more pretty and I'd actually wear the necklaces more often this way!

I love this idea! I'll have to do something like this when I go to college, love the push pin idea CatAnne! Maybe I'll put like giant butterflys or other things on top of the pins.

Can you post more pictures? I'm curious on what all your jewels look like. It looks pretty. I have this behind my door on the wall, except it holds my bandannas, and scarfs. I have a few huge necklaces on it as well. I had a bathroom rod left over from the dorm, and I used it between a bookcase and the wall. It looks really great.

I have all my necklaces on giant push pins on my wall(Walmart, 8 for $3 I think) in a straight line. Black, White, Black, White pattened pushpins. All my necklaces are organized by metal type.
