One dress, two looks
Turn a simple T-shirt, singlet or dress into something different, just by turning it inside out! "How?" I hear you ask... well, read on...

  • Step 1

    Turn the garment inside out and cut ric rac to the length of the shoulder seams (from neck to end of sleeve) and side seams (from end of sleeve to hem).

    Pin ric rac along seams, then sew into place either by hand or on the sewing machine. Keep in mind that the bobbin thread will show through to the right side of the fabric, so if you don't want it to be visible, it's better to hand stitch so the stitches are not so obvious.

    Finished! As you can see, the ric rac sits over the seams to hide them, but also adds a design feature to the garment. So you have two dresses in one!
