Cut Out + Keep

Oceanic Nail Art

Sea-coloured version of a 'fancy' french manicure

I created this design after a day at the seaside. Excuse the thumb, I had not tidied the edges when I took the photos! It's basically an aqua and silver diagonal french, with white 'waves' painted on. I also added blue bubbles to most nails (blue 'waves' to thumbs) and green 'seaweed' waving. It's pretty simple if you have a steady hand. I would probably not do blue waves and dots on the thumb next time, they seem to dominate the design too much. I'll probably accent the green with silver and add silver 'bubbles' to the thumb instead. The nail varnishes are mostly Barry M and NYC, nothing expensive. The design itself is very easy to adapt for a number of schemes, I've done it in candy colours with a chain of dots instead of the white 'waves' before for example. Enjoy! I hope it inspires you!
