Oatmeal cookies will become your addiction! Low cholesterol too!
I got the original recipe from Quaker Oatmeal. This is my version of oatmeal cookies.

  • Step 1

Mix everything together. I find it easiest to use my hands. Add chocolate chips and/or almonds if you like. You can also add some cocoa, but make sure the dough doesn't become too dry.

  • Step 2

Put everything in the fridge for about 20 minutes.

  • Step 3

Preheat your oven to 160°C. Put baking paper on your baking plate. You can also butter it, but the cookies are quite sticky when hot, so paper is easier.

  • Step 4

Roll little balls of dough and flaten them between your hands (not too flat, you can see it on the left of the picture). Put them on the plate, not too close together, they will grow.

  • Step 5

Put them in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. I put mine in for 20 minutes, but it depends on the oven. Keep an eye on them, if you let them become too brown, they will be hard like a rock!

  • Step 6

Take your cookies out of the oven and let them cool a bit before taking them off the paper. Like I said, they are quite sticky, but should come off fine when cooler.

  • Step 7

    Enjoy your cookies!
