I wanted to dress up all princessy on NYE. I wanted a ballerina style dress like the ones I saw on Etsy (the shop is Ouma), but they were out of my budget. So I made a knock off. I'm sure my technique is different and my materials aren't nearly as nice, but I still felt all pretty on New Year's Eve. I even made a matching headband that was eaqually over the top. The sweater and tank top were store purchases that I paired with it. It takes some time though because of the many, many hand pleated layers of tulle.

You Will Need

basic or fancy
Sewing Machine
to attach tulle to ribbon waist.

you will use
Thread
to sew on the waistband and pleat the fabric.

coordinating color or not of
Ribbon
to make the waistband and tie closure. You need enough to go around your waist and easily tie.

Tulle
any color you like. The number of layers depend on desired fullness and how you want to wear it.
