For this project I used a handkerchief, but this purse can be made on a much larger scale with any lightweight fabric so long as it's in the shape of a square.

You Will Need

Step 1Fold your handkerchief or square fabric in half, corner to corner, with right sides facing together.

Step 2Forming a ring with your index finger and thumb, slide down one corner about halfway to the middle. Tie a knot at this point.

Step 3Repeat step 2 on the other side.

Step 4Separate the top corners and turn the whole thing inside out. You will have a sort of pouch shaped like a teardrop.

Step 5Now tie the top corners together using a double knot as close to the ends as you can.

Step 6Enjoy your Purse!

Step 7Or if you'd rather more defined handles, take the top corners and twist them a few times before tying together.
This would be perfect for the little knick knacks I have lying around.
