    Step 1

okay, first off, i wanted to let you know that i didnt think up of this idea, Megan Nicolay did! its in the book shown in the picture, and its on page 294. i think there was a contest before where the prize was this book, so if you won, kuods to you!

  • How to make legwarmers. No Sew Leggings/Legwarmers From A T Shirt - Step 2
    Step 2

choose a shirt that you kinda like but fits awkwardly or you dont like the logo on it. in my case, it was both haha

  • How to make legwarmers. No Sew Leggings/Legwarmers From A T Shirt - Step 3
    Step 3

with your chalk or pen or whatever, make a dot next to both sides of the neckline and in the center of the hem at the bottom. connect the dots to form a triangle

  • How to make legwarmers. No Sew Leggings/Legwarmers From A T Shirt - Step 6
    Step 6

make sure when you wrap a piece around you thigh, that it doesnt overlap. if it does then just trim the raw edge until it doesnt overlap anymore. BUT DONT CUT OFF TOO MUCH LIKE ME T^T you'll end up with leggings that are quite tight -__-

  • How to make legwarmers. No Sew Leggings/Legwarmers From A T Shirt - Step 7
    Step 7

pick up your chalk again and make dots all long the outer edge, one inch from the side and 1.5 inches apart. do the same to the place where the sleeve used to be

  • How to make legwarmers. No Sew Leggings/Legwarmers From A T Shirt - Step 8
    Step 8

take a t-shirt strip (preferably cut from the bottom of a really big shirt)(again, this strip has to be LONG) and stretch the crap out of it, because you need a really long strip. put safety pins at both ends of the strip.

  • How to make legwarmers. No Sew Leggings/Legwarmers From A T Shirt - Step 9
    Step 9

thread the strip through the hem opening, if this makes sense D:

  • How to make legwarmers. No Sew Leggings/Legwarmers From A T Shirt - Step 10
    Step 10

lace down the legging like its a shoe

  • How to make legwarmers. No Sew Leggings/Legwarmers From A T Shirt - Step 11
    Step 11

take another t-shirt strip and cut it in half, using the half to lace down the other side

  • How to make legwarmers. No Sew Leggings/Legwarmers From A T Shirt - Step 12
    Step 12

and now you DONE!! wear them as legging under a skirt or dress, or as legwarmers [: so cutee
