Using a pair of scissors, cut off the bottom of a t shirt. About 9 inches from the hem.
Insert a piece of cardboard between the two layers to prevent paint from bleeding through. Paint on one side of the scarf and let dry. Repeat on second side.
Heat set the paint so it's wash fast. There are several ways to do this: i. preheat oven to 400 degrees farenheit. Turn oven off and place scarf on a cookie sheet for at least 15 minutes. ii. household dry iron on highest setting for your fabric type.
