They're really made out of newspaper!
These are two dresses that I made for my AP Government project. One was inspired by Lady Gaga, but I created the designs and patterns myself. These didn't last long at all, but everyone was amazed by them when I took pictures in them at school. A friend of mine took the pictures. If you want to see the finished video that these pictures were taken for, here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zq8u1CEwkVE Any questions, ask. :)

Woah that looks really cool Happy! I made a newspaper dress once for a competition, I didn't like how frail the newspaper was so I covered every inch of the newspaper to be sheilded with wide clear tape Happy It lasted very long.

This looks awesome! I'd love to make something like this to prom, but I don't know if I'd dare to wear it.

LOL at the guys on the baseball field checking you out ;)
That frilly dress is awesome, but the 2nd simpler one looks like it's going to fall off! I imagine they wouldn't last long in the rain, but this is definitely a novel and fantastic idea. Dresses that you can only wear a day or 2 Happy Good job!

It was supposed to rain the day of the photo shoot, but it didn't. They still ripped really easily, though, so I was thankful that I had on a skin-colored leotard underneath.

Like it, on the art academy we did do this too. only we hadn't the use of a hot glue gun , but adhesive tape works good too;-D
