^That is a link on how to turn drilled beads and stones into a pendant. It's not an exact science; you don't have to be accurate with your wire measurements. It's easiest to work with briolette beads due to their side-drilled hole. I typically choose a larger rock/bead for the pendant and then loop charms through with jump rings.
Note: I'm new to making jewelry and have discovered it can be as expensive as you allow it to become. The most expensive investment is the tools you routinely use: wire cutters, needle nose pliers, and wire crimpers.
