You Will Need

Step 1
At first I've sewn two rows of bias binding (although I this white rick rack would would look very nice too!) onto the the long rectangular of fabric.

Step 2
I've gathered the fabric into waistband.

Step 3
Add zip, loop for button, button and bias binding around the waste band. Now you have nautical skirt just like a real captain!
